Simpsons Book

A Brooklyn College sophomore has written a “scholarly” book on The Simpsons, and now the book is being used for classes at Tufts and Western Michigan University*.

In the final chapter, Keslowitz delves into the Simpsons and Descartes” “First Meditation” heavy stuff. But he first lightens things up with a bit of Homerian philosophy that’s difficult to dispute: “Facts are meaningless. You could use facts to prove anything that’s even remotely true.”

Well, d’oh.

*Thanks, Sam.
