More Comic Propaganda

Last week saw how comic books were used in Mexico to help sway political opinion. Now Japan will release a comic to help promote the military.

In the latest attempt to make its armed forces more open to a public that is firmly opposed to militarism, Japan’s Defence Agency is to produce its annual white paper on its efforts in the form of a comic book.

It’s only a matter of time before the Shrub releases his series, The Defender of Freedom. In the second issue we’ll probably see Captain Dick demonstrate a ‘clear’ link between gay marriages and Al-Qaeda.
