Rushdie Gets (Another) Accolade

Salman Rushdie has been named the Janet Weis Fellow in Contemporary Letters at Bucknell University. (Previous recipients include Toni Morrison and John Updike.) The poor chap who had to cover the event sounds like he only knows Rushdie from the fatwa.
