As I’m sure will be talked about at length in the lit blogosphere, this Sunday’s NYTBR featured an article by David Orr about “sites that talk about, pick on, poke at and generally mull over books, writers and writing.” Quite a few bloggers were mentioned, among whom Beatrice, Bookslut, The Complete Review, Identity Theory, the LNR Book Diary, Moby, and, of course Maud Newton. Unfortunately, Orr indulges in the new fashion of Maud bashing, which is frankly getting on my nerves. Go pick on someone who posts stale links and lifts other people’s posts, for a change. Also this week: the long delayed NYBTR redesign, and Ed posts his comments.
