The Washington Post‘s Scott Wilson files a more thorough article about the curious ban of The Da Vinci Code in Lebanon, which I mentioned on the blog last month. The Catholic Church in Beirut found the book “defamatory.” The Da Vinci Code is being sold even in the Holy See, but not even this rejoinder has changed the minds of authorities there.
