A new stage adaptation of Agatha Christie’s novel Ten Little Niggers has changed the title to Guess Who? (cuz it’s a whodunnit, see?) Here in the States I think the book came out as And Then There Were None. Christie’s racist attitude should be clear to anyone who’s familiar with her novels (e.g. Murder on the Nile) but I wonder if that’s a good enough reason to “clean up” her work.
