not ready for 21st century voting
A few days ago at the library I saw that a notice that claimed that residents in our city could vote all week before the election, that they would be open on Sunday, and that the voting could be done on these cool-looking electronic systems. So on Sunday Alex and I pored over our ballots, did research on a bunch of sites, and once we had made up our minds on all the candidates, headed over to the library only to find … the building was closed. We met with other would-be voters and tried to gain access, unsuccessfully. I guess we’ll just have to do it tomorrow. Darn.
